It's All About The Shoes...

Men often state they do not understand the obsession many women have with shoes.

It is quite simple:

- Shoes make that perfect finish to an outfit.

- Pretty shoes make me feel pretty :)

- They are the finishing touch making the classic jeans'n't-shirt ensemble:
* casual (by wearing sneakers)
* pretty (by wearing cute flats or open toe sandals)
* sexy (by wearing heels)

With that in mind here is a little something for the boys as well as the girls :)

- How many pair of shoes do you own?

Not as many as you, but I have more cowboy boots than you!!!

Very few.

1) I prefer bare feet.
2) As a vegan, I no longer buy anything with leather.

But Carrie Bradshaw and the fashion industry believe in shoes. ;~)

Long after I'm dead, the fashion industry might come up with fashionable footware with no dead animal materials.

I have tons of shoes . . . but no really decadent shoes. Must fix that! Muah!

Michelle: You also have my favorite "Hollywood" boots at your house =D I know you loathe them but I still favor my stylish pretty cowboy boots over the casual ones you try to convince me to buy =P

Shane: I spent half my childhood bare feet :)

Caroline: That's it - we'll go shoe hunting once I make it to Arkansas! (and shopping for cute things for the Bidlet).
*Muah!*

Shoes? You were wearing shoes in that pic? :-)

My "thing" is purses. I buy a new purse every couple of weeks. Shoes have never done much for me. I love the pretty ones but I can't wear them because I'm running all over the building at work all day, fixing computers, and heels just aren't practical.

First off, nice photo.

I actually have many shoes. I used to be the typical guy with two pairs - sneakers and dress. Now, I have plenty...

A pairs of boots - for in the garden
two more in the survival packs

Three dress pairs - different colors of course - brown, black, and maroon - the basics.

1 pair of loafers
1 sneakers - hardly worn anymore
1 casual slip on pair worn often
2 sets of slippers - one everyday moccasin style, capable of being worn outside, like to the mailbox, and another of the warm and fuzzy style for winter nights. No, they're not bunny slippers, they're lion slippers.
