Lovely Anita.. I like 3 too but I also admire your willingness to expose your wrinkles- life lines really. Beauty has nothing to do with perfection now does it? It's only about capturing the isness of something, its universal essence, whatever the hell that is. LOL

Cherie: How about choosing all of Mes :) I had a ball - always do when goofing around in front of the camera.
Ooooh... MUST do that the next time I get to see you and Master D!

Jeff: "Beauty has nothing to do with perfection" Best.Darn.Blog.Comment.EVER!
I love wrinkles but am not always thrilled with mine, they could have waited a few years. But alas, Scandinavian skin combined with TONS of smiles and laughter shows. At least I had fun getting them :)

The top picture... Did you edit it in any way?

It's the you I've always imagined.

Very creative work, my friend.

Just stopping by to see the lovely treasures you have recently posted...I have some vacation days! That means I may be writing more!

This reminds me of the Western movie, "Wayne's World", where a famous line was "EXTREME CLOSE UP! AHHHH!!"...Yes, they would scream the line repeatedly as the camera zoomed in and out. I have no idea why this was considered entertaining.
When I'm bored, I bring up Wayne's World references (shrugging)

@ Peabody: LOL!!! Sorry about that. Not enough hours to the day it seems.

Top pic was purposely overexposed using flash and studio lighting. I did a slight retouch and deepened the shadow contouring my nose and right eyebrow (should have used a different feature for that though), and popped the colors using Curves in PS.

I always convert a copy of the RAW file into TIFF before I work with it, then convert from TIFF into JPEG.

@ Steve: So sad to have missed you in Berlin. Hope you enjoyed time off - I'll stop by your Blog ASAP (am waaaaay behind on reading)

@ M: are you calling my work "boring"??? Off with your head! (and I loved Wayne's World - well, the first one anyway).

C and Joey: Thank you :)
